5th - 6th

We don’t believe we’re helping children grow in order to be the church someday. We believe they are the church today.

What to Expect

5th - 6th Grade • Sundays at 9:02 & 11:17am

Our Sunday morning gatherings create a unique environment intentionally designed to honor our 5th – 6th graders evolving sense of style and fun while giving them room to still enjoy the best parts of being a kid.

These gatherings look a lot like our Wednesday night 7th – 12th grade gatherings. Every Sunday morning gets kicked off with fun, games and fellowship such as ping-pong, foosball, and dynamic group games. Next, we step into worship led by some of our own high schoolers. Our kids get hyped, but many also experience moments of solitude and intimacy with God during this time. After two or three songs, we dive into the teaching. Our team of communicators is teaching through the bible, contextualizing it for where the kids are at this stage. Finally, we break into small groups where the leaders guide deeper conversations that center around questions and life application.

Transitioning from Sundays to Wednesdays

We know that the shift from middle to high school can be rough. And so, we want 7th graders to feel welcome at Wednesday night gatherings from the start. Every year, our Mosaic Students team processes the best way to transition the rising 7th graders. We have parent information meetings and Summer events that expose the incoming 7th graders to the experience of a typical Wednesday night gathering.
