Many of the Psalms are of rejoicing, but many are also of lament. Lament is a powerful process of worshiping God in our pain. Sometimes when hard things happen God feels far away and we turn to different coping mechanisms, but in this discussion based from psalms 13 it shows us that nothing and no one will be there for us in our pain like God will be.
