Many of us know with our minds that God loved us first and we are saved because Jesus died for us, but quickly any of us can be swept up in the idea that we in some way have to be good to earn God’s love. Galatians is a whole letter devoted to reminding us and recapturing our hearts to the true gospel of grace. Jesus started the work, continues the work, and will be faithful to complete the work He started in us!!
