This week, Caleb introduces us to the Book of Exodus. The first 15 chapters narrates the story of Moses and the Israelites’ exodus from Egypt. This story is crazy! Plagues, burning bushes, bugs, water turning to blood, parting the water of the Red Sea, and that’s just the beginning! Through this story, we see God’s great power and the fulfilling of his promise to the Israelites to protect them and deliver them to the land promised to them.
Then the LORD said, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters. I know their sufferings, and I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians and hto bring them up out of that land to a good and broad land, a land flowing with milk and honey…”
