Mosaic Students

Say "Yes" to Students

Students today feel the pressure of living a big story, but only the gospel can infuse ordinary moments with authentic truth, beauty, and purpose. This is why we come alongside parents to love and lead 5th – 12th graders in experiencing life as a follower of Jesus.

Our Vision

Discipleship

Gatherings

Our Sunday morning and Wednesday night gatherings allow students to experience worship and God’s word together, unifying them as part of the church. It also familiarizes them with the power of gathering together regularly—which we hope they carry with them into adulthood.

Small Groups

Small groups are key to our gatherings. During this time, students share in the kind of setting Jesus and his twelve disciples enjoyed together—asking questions, sharing stories, receiving guidance, and building relationships.

Missional Opportunities

We want our students to know that God has plans for them to impact the world, both in the future and in the here and now. By providing multiple missional opportunities throughout the year that serve our local and global partners, students get insight into how to practically bring the light and relief of the gospel into dark spaces.

We Love Parents

We believe that Christ-following parents are the primary spiritual authority in a teenager’s life. Our hope is that our small group leaders will partner directly with their student’s parents, helping them invite a wider circle of influence into their children’s lives.

Parent Nights for 7th – 12th Graders

Throughout the year, we will invite you to attend specific gatherings to gain insight into what your students are experiencing on Wednesday nights. As a part of these gatherings, we share teaching relevant to parenting in today’s cultural context as well as provide an opportunity for you to get to know your student’s small group leader.

Sunday Mornings

5th – 6th Grade Gatherings

Winter Garden Campus, 9:02 & 11:17am

Our 5th – 6th grade Sunday morning gatherings look a lot like our Wednesday night 7th – 12th grade gatherings. Every Sunday morning gets kicked off with fun, games and fellowship such as ping-pong, foosball, and dynamic group games. Next, we step into worship led by some of our own high schoolers. Our kids get hyped, but many also experience moments of solitude and intimacy with God during this time. After two or three songs, we dive into the teaching. Our team of communicators is teaching through the bible, contextualizing it for where the kids are at this stage. Finally, we break into small groups where the leaders guide deeper conversations that center around questions and life application.

Check-In

We have two ways to check-in your 5th – 6th grade students: Check-in at Mosaic or Check-in on the go with KidCheck:

Check-In At Mosaic

Stop by the 5th – 6th grade check-in kiosk before the gathering to check-in your students with one of our volunteers. They will guide you and your student to their gathering space and answer any questions you might have.

Check-In On The Go

You can check your students in on the go with the KidCheck app. Here’s how it works:

STEP ONE: DOWNLOAD THE KIDCHECK APP

STEP TWO: CHECK-IN ON YOUR PHONE

Start check-in wherever it is convenient: from home, the car, the parking lot, etc.

STEP THREE: COMPLETE CHECK-IN UPON ARRIVAL

When you arrive, complete your check-in and print labels with a single tap.

Wednesday Nights

7th – 12th Grade Gathering

Winter Garden Campus, 6:00 – 8:00pm

Wednesday night gatherings are our main space for discipleship for 7th – 12th graders. The night is filled with games, teaching, worship, and small group environments. Here, students are inspired to let a relationship with God, His Word, and a biblical community radically shape their character, relationships, and purpose.

You can also tune into Mosaic Students online via Mosaic’s Livestream on Wednesdays at 6:00pm.

Summers with Students

7th – 12th Grade Camp

Because Summers Should Be Epic

It’s the best time of the year. Every summer, we pack up into three or four giant buses and venture out to our very own Mosaic-style summer camp. So much happens during this week that it’s hard to explain in full. In short: Road trip. White-water rafting. Swag. Minute-to-win-it. Stage decor. Bonfires. Tubing. Rock-wall climbing. Obie Rivera. Beach volleyball. Custom devotionals. Cabins. Worship under the stars…

5th – 6th Grade Summer Bash

An event to celebrate everything God has done in our 5th and 6th grader’s lives this summer and lead them passionately into the new school year!

We are so excited to have all our kids who have recently finished 5th and 6th grade to join us this summer to compete in fun games, enjoy good food, experience dynamic teaching from the Bible and participate in celebratory worship.
