Rick Bohner

Serving as Mosaic’s Discipleship Pastor is my third career. I spent my first 21 years post-college as a navy pilot: flying reconnaissance missions and serving as an instructor pilot, nuclear war plans advisor and recruiting commander. I then transitioned into education, where I spent four years in the public school system, followed by 15 years as an administrator at a private Christian school. In the summer of 2018, I was invited to join Mosaic on-staff doing what I love most in life: discipling people to a deeper intimacy level with Jesus.

I met my wife while going through pilot training in Texas, and we married in June of 1984. We have four grown children, two of whom are close by, one who lives in PA, and another who serves as a missionary in Kandern, Germany. We also have two grandchildren with another on the way. Connie and I love to travel, gather with friends and family, and spend quiet time in the southern Appalachian mountains.
