I am husband to Sherill and father to Bella, Noah, Judah, and Micah. I practice law for a living with a heart to help people solve problems and achieve justice. I have a passion for knowing Jesus, knowing and teaching God’s word…and Gator football.
I’m thankful to be gaining more of Jesus and less of me as time goes on. I love that, through Christ, God lovingly strips us of all we hold dear as He brings us into an identity that is found more in Him, as a son or daughter to a Father. He pursues us in love and allows us to experience more and more of His love as we grow with and surrender to Him. And as we experience His love in fresh ways, He enables us to pour it out more ably on others. This is the abundant life I get to live in Him and it’s such a joy to experience and share!
Sherill and I visited Mosaic ten years ago and Renaut “happened” to be preaching from the same book we were reading together. We were drawn to the expository preaching and a vibrant expression of the gospel through radical missional living. We felt like Mosaic was home and have never looked back. After having an opportunity to serve for a few years at the church, I sensed God’s calling as a pastor and the other elders confirmed it. I’m hopeful that God will allow me to help lead our church by being grounded in the truth of His word and equipping our body to live with and on mission for Him.
