Norma Rey

I was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, and spent all my childhood and early young adult years there. From an early age, I have been incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by my family, who have endlessly instilled in me a heart and passion for helping others… No wonder I pursued a career in Education! God also gifted me with the ability to communicate with others in more than one language, so I have always enjoyed learning from and studying about other cultures. Being able to break language barriers and to connect with one another more deeply has always brought great joy to my heart.

By God’s amazing love and grace, I have the enormous privilege and responsibility to be the mom of three wonderful children… three amazing souls who point me everyday to Jesus, reminding me constantly of His loving, healing and redemptive work in our lives. I am most certainly a constant work in progress, flawed and imperfect, who is reminded daily of how perfect our God is… and I am honored to witness His perfection! With every sunset and sunrise, by contemplating nature, music, Holy Yoga, and dance, I find infinite beauty and connection with our Creator.

God’s perfect plan has placed me at Mosaic to serve along a remarkable and talented group of people in Kids Ministry. Together, we make sure our Mosaic families and their children are well cared for and loved. You may find me always with a warm smile, greeting, welcoming, and enjoying the privilege of being with your children during our Sunday gatherings, mid-week classes and special events.

It will forever be my prayer for you and for me to be endlessly reminded of how to love God, ourselves, and others well, despite our everyday realities and the circumstances we are facing here on earth.
