Matthew Armbruster

I am a born and raised Oklahoman (Boomer Sooner!) whose Mosaic story began after I was given a book by my Seminary that was written by Renaut van der Riet (our lead pastor at Mosaic). In 2022, I emailed Mosaic out of the blue and asked them if I would be able to move to Florida and do a pastoral residency at Mosaic. To my surprise and delight, they said yes! After 9 months in that role, I now get to serve as Executive Assistant to the Lead Pastor and will be starting another 2-year Pastoral Residency in July 2024. But this is not the only upcoming change in my life…

On January 1, 2024, I will be marrying my best friend, Jody Webb! I met Jody in 2018 the only way we Gen-Z’ers know how—through the Instagram DM’s! I am incredibly excited to finally say ‘I do’ and kick off our lives together in Florida. If you see me or Jody in the lobby please come say hi! We’re always looking to meet new people who can come alongside us as we seek to make Jesus’ name known from Winter Garden to the ends of the earth.

In my free time, I love watching college football, talking Harry Potter, cooking homemade pasta, and reading (and buying too many) books! To relax, my favorite activity is going on evening walks with Jody—feel free to join us!
