Joel Ramjohn

I love the Word of God. The beauty of slowly reading from Genesis to Revelation, soaking in the wonder of the Creator, and the knee-bending reality of His great love for me. Who am I that He is mindful of me? That He calls me by name and knows the number of hairs on my head?

It is in His Word that I find peace and wholeness. God’s Word is an anchor for my soul. My favorite chapter in the Bible, Psalm 91, reminds me of who I am in the eyes of the Creator, and of His presence in my life. Gardening is one of my private joys. It is where I can escape to pray, think, and relax. I also enjoy reading books: biblical history, doctrine, psychology, leadership development, and, as a closet nerd, sci-fi.

I met my beautiful wife Tanique in September 2004. We met, talked about our faith, fell in love, and were married six months later. We have two wonderful sons, Micah and Luke. In 2015, after 10 years of marriage and traveling to share our love for God and people, Tanique and I founded Agape Source Inc. Locally and globally, Agape Source provides friendship, care, and love. We give every International we meet the warmest welcome, help them adjust to life in America, and help meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, providing a “home away from home” experience. My wife and I love to serve the international cast members at Disney.

We made Mosaic Church our home in March 2011. We love Mosaic’s passion for kids with special needs, orphans, kids in foster care, and coffee and donuts. As an elder, I am passionate about prayer, service to others, missions, and integrity in ministry. We are called to be salt and light, grounded in the Word of God, and appointed to demonstrate the gospel by the way we live and serve. I know that every experience I’ve had has led me to this moment in my history to serve our church community.
