I have a passion for helping others experience the transforming grace and love of Jesus. I started my career as an RN, working for 14 years in inpatient care and five years in administration. In both those spaces, my favorite part was the people. Whether patient or co-worker, we all have a story, and I love helping people work through their tough chapters. I’ve had my share of big failures, blown opportunities, self-sabotage, and childhood trauma, but in all those spaces, I’ve seen God’s faithfulness. Paul called himself the chief of all sinners, and yet he “was not ashamed of the gospel because it is the power of salvation for those who believe.” (Romans 1:16). I’ve seen that salvation in my own life. I came on board the discipleship team in 2020 to help others experience that same grace.
I have been married for 33 years to my very loving and patient husband, Steve. We have three beautiful adult children, two of whom are married. We also have two dogs and lots of dreams of making beautiful things together in our family workshop. My favorite hobbies are creating things with Steve, kayaking, and—when we can get away—taking long walks in the mountains. My favorite destination is anywhere with my family.
