I grew up a local boy here in Orlando as an only child, and my parents were only children as well.  Baseball was my love and I started playing professional baseball at the age of 17 and made it to the Major Leagues when I was only 22 years old.  After being sent down to the minors my first year, that is where I met my wife René at a baseball game in Canada as my coach asked her out on a date for me.  God definitely had his hand in that and we have 3 amazing boys who are grown and trying to navigate where God is leading them.  René and I have worked in ministry to professional baseball players for over 20 years and it was through baseball ministries that I surrendered my life to Christ and gave it all to him.  Since then, God has put amazing men in my life who discipled me and then challenged me to get my seminary degree and to continue on to impact men’s lives for God’s Kingdom work.

If you see me, I love talking baseball and I love listening to other’s stories.  I’m a wannabe bass fisherman, but I don’t go as much as I like.  But what I do enjoy doing is pouring into men’s lives and together building each other up in God’s Word to navigate through life.  René and I are loving where God has us over at the WDW Campus, where we get to live life with them and they keep us up to date on anything Disney or Marvel.  I still have a lot to learn about both of those, but I’m excited to have experts there to teach me.
