May 2023 – Newsletter Church family, happy May! As we are almost halfway through the year and summer is approaching fast, these upcoming months are full of events that everyone can get excited about.
Before we jump in, let’s take a moment to celebrate the beauty of what happened a few weeks ago: 22 people made a public declaration of faith by getting baptized in front of their church family. In addition to that, ten families dedicated their children to the Lord by recognizing that God is the Author and Keeper of our children’s lives!
Now, coming up is our Evangelism and Apologetics forum, which we are offering as a tool to give you confidence to engage in gospel-centered conversations. Students Camp and VBS are also right around the corner! Uniquely tailored to our younger attendees at Mosaic, Camp and VBS will be a time for them to create lifelong memories while deepening their relationship with God. Registration is open for all three events on the calendar.

June 26th - 30th Mosaic VBS
VBS will be BLASTING OFF to outer space June 26th-30th from 9:00am-12:00pm. This year’s theme is Shine Jesus’s Light! Our kids will explore how Jesus shines hope, love, forgiveness, and joy to the world and how they can do the same through Him. It is going to be out of this world!

May 22, 2023 Evangelism and Apologetics Forum
Our goal with this forum is to equip you to confidently engage in gospel conversations with your friends, family, and neighbors that are loving and fruitful. Often when sharing Jesus with those who do not know Him, real questions and obstacles to belief arise. We desire for you in those moments to, as Peter says, “always be prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you” (1 Peter 3:15).

New Class - Open Enrollment Pray Then Like This
This Summer, we will walk together through the Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13). In Luke’s Gospel account, the disciples ask Jesus, “Lord, teach us to pray” (Luke 11:1). As followers of Jesus, walking in the dust of our Rabbi, we likewise must learn to pray. This 7-week study is an invitation for us to gather under the teaching of God’s word and to be drawn into a deeper, abiding relationship with God through the power of prayer.

June 4 - 9, 2023 Mosaic Students Camp
It’s the best time of the year. Every summer, we pack up our 7th – 12th graders into three or four giant buses and venture out to our very own Mosaic-style summer camp.
