January 2023 – Newsletter New Year. New Opportunities. Happy New Year Mosaic!
With this new year we also have a new vision. To walk in the dust of our Rabbi. To be so close to our Rabbi that we’re covered by the dust of the path He walks. This path is marked by finding Him in the rhythm of eating and sleeping, proclaiming and demonstrating the Gospel, and spending time alone with His Father. Jesus invites us to find rest in journeying with Him by His Spirit along this light and easy path.
With this new vision there are plenty of new opportunities here at Mosaic to get involved. We have new classes and groups starting early in the year. These classes and groups give opportunity to be covered in the dust of the Rabbi by time spent by the fireplace, proclaiming His Kingdom, and demonstrating the Gospel.

Tuesday & Wednesday Options Exodus Bible Study
This Spring, we will be jumping back into the book of Exodus with a focus on chapters 19-40 for 11 weeks. Our studies are designed to be a journey of learning that will involve personal study, small-group discussion, and large-group teaching. During our time together, we will learn how to study the Bible and how to use specific tools to enhance our understanding of God’s word.

Starting January 24th Abide with Jesus Class
This 10-week class will be a journey through the disciplines of our faith (listening to God’s voice through Scripture, prayer, fasting, etc.). In John 15, Jesus gives all of his followers repeated invitations to abide in Him in order to live a fruitful and faithful life, but what does it mean to practically abide in Jesus in the everyday regularity of our lives?

Starting January 24th Mission with Jesus Class
This will be a 10-week training in the proclamation and demonstration of the Gospel. Isn’t it typically hard to keep good news to yourself? There is a certain thrill that comes with saying, “Guess what!” And yet, many of us Christians struggle to share the best news we’ve ever received.

January 22nd - May 7th Re|Engage - Spring 2023
Re|Engage is a marriage enrichment class that has helped couples across the country. Marriages in any condition can benefit, whether you are struggling to get along, your marriage is broken, or you simply want to grow closer together as a couple. This class examines God’s design for marriage and applies principles from the Bible to guide couples towards growth in their relationship with each other.
