August 2023 – Newsletter Fall Opportunities for Involvement Fall is right around the corner, which means Bible studies, classes, and other opportunities for you to get involved are starting back up – we hope you are as excited as we are!
Last month, we had the opportunity to participate in a Back to School Drive for foster families. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to provide 185 backpacks, 123 lunch boxes, and 145 water bottles to those families so their child could experience an ounce of normalcy.

Getting baptized is such a special experience for each believer, and we love sharing that moment with our church body. This is why we’re excited for August 27th—our next Baptism Sunday!
If you want to be baptized, we’d love for you to let us know by registering to join us for either our Adult or Kid baptism class.

Starting August 29th Hebrews Bible Study
This Fall, we will be jumping into the book of Hebrews!
Our studies are designed to be a learning journey involving personal study, small-group discussion, and large-group teaching. During our time together, we will learn how to study the Bible and how to use specific tools to enhance our understanding of God’s word.

Starting August 29th The Disciple Year
The Disciple Year is an 8 month discipleship program that immerses participants in a deep discipleship program in the context of the local church.
The program’s curriculum seeks to equip believers in three areas of discipleship—Biblical Story, Christian Belief, and Rhythms of Intimacy. By weaving these three elements into a holistic approach to discipleship, men and women can grow in their love for God, Scripture, and His mission.

Women's Class Making Sense of Your (Past) Worth
In this class, you will discover the awesome truth about your immeasurable value. In our lives, we have all been exposed to negative messages. Over time we are all at risk of believing those messages. In this class, we will learn to unsubscribe from those lies and the impact of the lies in our life and place it with our own true reality.
