Sent

The iconic Christmas movie, Elf, is an illustration of the wonder that Jesus was sent into our world to accomplish what He alone is good at – giving life to those that are dead. In the movie, Buddy the Elf travels from his world into another that is unknowingly desperate for him to spread Christmas cheer. In a similar and true way, Jesus was sent from His world into our own and though weird to us, was just the kind of weird we all desperately need. This series is an invitation to embrace the life-giving weirdness of Jesus and to celebrate His coming by, “singing loud for all to hear.”
