Philippians 4:8-9 - Messages - Mosaic Church

Philippians 4:8-9

After Paul encourages the followers of Jesus to cast their anxieties on Jesus through prayer, he turns our attention to our thought life and highlights the way of the kingdom of Christ. As we think the way Jesus calls us to think, we begin to live according to the new way of the kingdom He is establishing in and through His people.

Philippians 4:8-9

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Romans 12:1-2

I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
