Come To Me (Emerging Gen Sunday)

In Luke 18:15-17, as a gentle friend and teacher, he reorients the hearts of his disciples and realigns them with God’s value system, showing them how God feels about the emerging generation.

For God, children and teenagers are not problems to be fixed or potential to be tapped, but people to be valued and loved right where they’re at as members of God’s Kingdom and plans. And this is His heart for us all—to trust in Him with childlike faith and not in our own abilities and agendas.

Luke 18:15-17

Now they were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them. And when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. But Jesus called them to him, saying, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.”
