Ending Human Trafficking

The Truhn family are serving God in the Navajo Nation through Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention, and Discipleship. Human Trafficking is an underserved issue in the Navajo Nation so they are working to create programs that raise awareness of the issue, serve the needs of human trafficking survivors, and share the love of Jesus.

How to get involved

option .01 Pray with us

  • Pray for their continued and increasing intimacy with Jesus.
  • Pray they would root their identity deeply in the gospel and not in what they do or how well they do it.
  • Pray for a strong marriage and family.
  • Pray God gives them great wisdom as they make decisions.
  • Pray for favor in their community as they build relationships with their neighbors and local community.
  • Pray they would stay focused and faithful to the call God has placed on their lives, even in the midst of the ups and downs of difficult ministry.
  • Pray for fruit for God’s kingdom — that they would demonstrate and declare the Gospel and that God would transform the hearts and lives of men, women, and children in their community.

option .02 Serve with us

  • Encourage – Write them an encouraging email and let them know that you are praying for them.
  • Support – Join their Global Impact Team
  • Go long term to join their team and serve in cross-cultural ministry – Missionaries and Ministries need people who are willing to join them on Mission and give of themselves to make the gospel known, make disciples, and see the kingdom of God advance. Prayerfully consider whether God might be calling you to GO and join them on Mission.

option .03 Give financially

  • Participate in Justice & Mercy through financial support by giving above and beyond your regular giving at Mosaic to directly support a church plant with a one time gift or a regular recurring gift.
