Serve the City Conference

Serve the City Conference is a one-day event for leaders that work in the church or nonprofit settings.

Our theme this year is “WITH” as we come together to connect with God and one another and learn from each other as we all seek the welfare of our city.

In light of the ongoing realities of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year will continue to be a limited-capacity free event. To keep things set up well for community and discussion, we will be capping registration at 180 people. We are asking each church or organization to send no more than three (3) attendees per church or organization.

Details

Doors open at 8:30am and the first session will begin at 9:00am. The conference will include a time of worship, three main sessions, a time for networking and roundtable discussions, two breakout sessions, an encouraging message from Mosaic’s lead pastor, Renaut van der Riet, and of course… free lunch. We would love it if you and your key staff and/or volunteers joined us. We pray that this event will be full of collaborative conversations, new insights, divine connections, and God moments — leaving you and your team inspired and refreshed. Our last session will conclude at 5:00pm.

Covid-19 Guidelines

As people wanting to live on-mission, we all serve a wide range of communities throughout our city and we don’t want anything to keep you from that. So, to best care for everyone, we’ll be following these safety measures while together:

  • Physical distancing: The room will be set up with multiple small round tables that will facilitate small group discussions while providing safe social distancing.
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the room.
  • Masks are encouraged and will be available for all conference attendees, so please feel free to wear a mask throughout the event if that is your preference.
  • Lunch will be prepared and served in a way that facilitates limited contact.
  • All attendees will be invited/encouraged to use a color specific indicator on their nametag to denote what level of interaction they are comfortable with:
    • Green – Ok with physical interaction with/without a mask, including shaking hands, hugging etc
    • Amber – Ok with limited physical interactions if you are wearing a mask
    • Red – Please keep mask on around me, observe social distance, and no physical interactions
