Throughout this Lenten season, we have been focusing our hearts and minds on the truth that Jesus has come to bring our true lasting home, His Kingdom, to earth through His presence. During the traditional Lenten season, Maundy Thursday has provided a unique opportunity to remember the significance of the Passover Feast shared between Jesus and His disciples before the events of Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
The ancient feast of Passover was given to Jesus’ ancestors centuries before to be a reminder of God’s presence, protection, and provision. That night around the table, He began recounting Passover, explaining how each symbolic element was whispering about the ultimate arrival of God’s presence, protection, and provision through Himself!
This Maundy Thursday, we will come to the table as a biblical community for a special guided dinner experience, remembering the culmination of Passover arrived in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. The meal will incorporate some of the traditional symbolic elements of the feast of Passover, which we will be guided through along the way. It will also include some additional modern dinner items. This evening will leave us both full of awe of God’s presence and full from a wonderful communal meal!
Because this is a catered event, please register by Thursday, 3/30, to help us order correctly.
