At Mosaic, we care a great deal about partnering with God on His Mission to rescue and redeem a broken world. We want to be a gospel presence and gospel voice in our world and one of the ways we are called to do that is by engaging in works of Justice and Mercy.

We are engaging in three main areas of Justice and Mercy both in our city and around the world in order to demonstrate and declare the good news of Jesus. Those three areas are: Orphans & Vulnerable Children // Abolition of Trafficking // Poverty Alleviation.

Our newest initiative is to build a team of people who are actively engaging in Poverty Alleviation locally through several key partnerships.

2. The Cost of Poverty Experience will be hosted at Mosaic on Saturday, March 2nd from 9am to 12pm.

The Cost of Poverty Experience is a simulation that offers participants a glimpse into the lives of low-income individuals and families living in our community.

COPE portrays real stories of families impacted by poverty that go beyond the stereotype of what is seen on the news or written about in the paper. Also captured in the experience is the role that the broader community plays in their interactions with under-resource families.

Mosaic is pleased to be offering this opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the impact of poverty.  Sign up to attend

Serve as a Coach for the Jobs Partnership LifeWorks Class

The Jobs Partnership of Florida helps people discover a path to the job they were made for. Our LifeWorks training is a comprehensive solution to help the underemployed and unemployed find a path to a better-paying job.  Through career planning, soft skills training, and the journey to discover their purpose, our students can build a better future for themselves and their families.
Mosaic and St. Luke’s are excited to announce the launch of a new Winter Garden site for Jobs Partnership’s LifeWorks class!  We need volunteers who are willing to come alongside the students as coaches / mentors.  No expertise needed, just a passion for encouraging others and a willingness to show up and let God use you!  The LifeWorks class is a 12 week course that runs on Tuesday evenings from 6pm-9pm from late Feb to late May.  We will be meeting at Orange Technical College.  Volunteer training is Saturday, Feb 16th, so please contact us soon if you are interested!
