Join Us Saturday, October 3rd

Join us as we spread around our city to love our neighbors and impact our community. Every year around this time we get to the opportunity to come alongside our partners and serve the community together as a collective. Each project is different in nature, helping to fill the unique needs of our local partners who are on the front lines of bringing Orlando to life as they serve the marginalized and vulnerable.

By joining in their work we get to be a small part of the invaluable impact they are having in our own backyard.  Over the years, we have done everything from landscaping projects to beautification projects; we have experienced the sweat and thrill of building homes and even a grand opening of a community center.

Our hope is that you find a partner/ project that you are passionate about and get a team of your spouse, roommates, parents, kids or anyone to come to join you on this fun day of serving our community.

What to Expect (Please Read)

As we all know, this year has been particularly difficult for our community with people being out of work and facing other challenges brought on by the unique circumstances of 2020. These organizations that we partner with have been working so hard to help people amidst all this and we are honored to be able to join them in this work in a very present and relational way during this event.

We have several projects to help organizations that are providing food, some that help with housing, some that work with the homeless community, and more.

In years past, we’ve had a tradition of gathering here at the Winter Garden building before and after our service projects.  In light of safety measures and our need for social distancing, we are changing things up a little this year.

You will sign up for a project online and then your project leader will contact you directly to give you the directions of where to meet instead of coming here to Mosaic.

You Can Also Participate at Home

If anyone is not comfortable with being out in public or if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, we ask that you please stay at home and sign up for one of our at-home serving opportunities.

Health & Safety Measures

To minimize contact due to COVID-19 we ask that each team meet directly on-site where you are serving and there your team leader will provide you your Mission Serve tee (if you don’t already have one).

In previous years we have gathered before and after serving, enjoying lunch together—which we will miss very much this year (but have high hopes for next year). We ask that you and your team make a plan that fits the best whether packing a lunch or going out to eat as a team.

We’re also asking that everyone wear masks as our goal is to keep all the team members and our partners as safe as possible.
