We envision a community where every family and individual has an affordable, safe home; a community in which when homelessness occurs, it is rare, brief and one time. Join us in working towards making homelessness the exception through the collaborative effort and collective resources of government, business, non-profits and the faith community. Develop the skills and knowledge to be a Family Advocate, guiding at-risk families on a road to self-sufficiency.
Family Advocates assist each family by helping them access various resources that may include employment opportunities, education, job and life-skills training and other additional tangible needs. Activities vary by family needs, and may include assistance in completing applications, helping create a simple household budget or accompanying family members to appointments or job fairs.
