We will continue to post all new updates here on our website. You can find them directly at thisismosaic.org/updates.

To our Mosaic Family,

There’s no denying we’ve entered a pivotal season and we’re not sure how long or short it will be. As updates on the coronavirus pandemic continue to be released, we want to respond responsibly—adjusting our daily rhythms to best care for the health of the local and global community.

We want you to know that the physical safety as well as spiritual and relational health of our congregation remain our priorities.

This is why during this time, the following will be in place at both of our campuses for the foreseeable future:

All Sunday Gatherings will be online.

We will be posting our Sunday gathering on our website at 9:00am every Sunday and have it available on our website throughout the following week.

ASL interpreting and Spanish translation will be available.

We have the opportunity to gather in a unique way in the upcoming weeks.

  • ENGAGE | We encourage you to set aside a good chunk of time to engage in worship, teaching, and prayer with the rest of the church through this online platform every week. A part of the wonder of church is that it can’t be canceled because it isn’t an event, but people—like us.
  • MOSAIC KIDS | We’ll be offering worship, stories, and devotional resources for Little Kids, The City, and Mix56. Parents, this is a great time for you to enjoy engaging in the teaching with your kids. These resources be available on the Mosaic website as well.

All missional communities, groups, & classes will not be meeting in-person for the time being.

We are encouraging groups of 10 or more to meet online through free tools like Zoom or Google Hangouts as well as continue to share encouragements and needs with one another through text and messaging apps.

Directions on how to use Zoom.

Directions on how to use Google Hangouts. *Requires everyone in the Hangout to have a google email address.

Your missional community, group, and/or class leaders will be reaching out to you soon with more information!

All events are on hold for the time being.

Mosaic Students will not be meeting on Wednesday nights.

We will be offering alternative community and discipleship avenues to students through the Mosaic and Mosaic Students social media.

Mosaic Young Adults will not be meeting on Thursday nights.

We want to encourage all Mosaic Young Adults to use this time to join the rest of Mosaic in gathering online for Sunday’s worship and message, as well as connecting with their missional community through online platforms.

We will also be offering additional devotional resources and avenues of community and discipleship through Mosaic’s social media.

Walt Disney World College Program Assistance

All of us at Mosaic were incredibly sad to learn that with the end of the Walt Disney World College Program this semester, all College Program and International College Program participants are being dismissed from College Program Housing.

College Program participants: know we are grieving with you at this unexpected end of an experience that for many of you was a dream come true. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We’re also very away that this unexpected transition may create practical difficulties for you.

Whether or not you’ve ever been a regular part of one of our campuses, we want to be a resource to you in any way we can—whether that’s through helping you find temporary housing or rides to the airport, prayer, or even just being someone you can talk to. If you could use some help, please reach out to our WDW Connect Coordinator, Jennifer.

Winter Garden & Mosaic at WDW community: If you are able to provide any kind of assistance to College Program participants, please contact our WDW Connect Coordinator, Jennifer, as well and let her know what help you can offer.

Online Giving

About 60% of those who give already do their giving online or through the Mosaic App. However, if you are used to giving in person through the giving boxes, you can start giving online here or give on your mobile device by texting THISISMOSAIC  or THISISMOSAICWDW to 77977.  We greatly appreciate your generosity in this troubling season as it helps us be able to serve our local and global community.

We will continue to pay close attention to and follow the government’s recommendations.

In this time while we’re not able to be physically together, we’ll be sharing encouragements, prayers, short teachings, and devotionals throughout every week on Instagram and Facebook as well as on our website.

We know that all of us are experiencing quite a shift from our regular weekly rhythms, but the rhythm of abiding in Jesus—following His way, truth, and life—remains. And in doing so, we find He is our anchor in all times, always drawing us in closer towards Him and others.

Let’s not stop fearlessly pressing into abiding in Him individually and as a community in every moment. He pulls great purpose and beauty out of all seasons, leading us in every step.
