This Week's Lesson

At Mosaic Kids, we believe that God's Word is for kids today, impacting their lives now. While we aren't currently able to host our Mosaic Kids Sunday gatherings, if you're able, we would love for you to join us as a family in the sanctuary on Sunday mornings, engaging in worship and God's worth together. (Activity packets for kids will be available for all families to pick up before entering the sanctuary.)

You can also continue to find the weekly Mosaic Kids Lesson videos (full of worship, a lesson, and familiar faces) right here every week. We encourage you to watch these with your kids and use them to jumpstart memorable Gospel moments and conversations throughout the rest of the week!

Little Kids: Teaching & Resources (2-5 years old)

Sing in the Rain

People of all ages experience circumstances that leave us looking for someone who can help—someone who’s got our back and can help carry the load. This month, we want to begin teaching preschoolers that God is the best Someone for the job. No matter what our situation or how uncertain our circumstances may be, we can know that God is with us wherever we go, and God’s got it. This kind of trust in God is what allows us to Sing in the Rain.

There’s always a chance of rain in our lives or in the lives of our preschoolers. Many of us have already come through some pretty big rainstorms. Some of us are in them right now. That is why it is our sincere prayer that during this month we and our preschoolers will begin to trust that God’s got it. This kind of trust in God is what will give you and me and our preschoolers the power to sing in the rain—no matter what that rain might be.

God keeps His promises.

Story Focus: God keeps His promises. We will wrap up the month with one of the most popular stories in the Bible—Noah! Preschoolers love this story! How could they not with all of the animals and the rainbow at the end! We will use Noah’s exciting story to teach the truth that God keeps His promises. If God says He’s got it, then God’s got it!

Our hope this month is that preschoolers will begin to understand that God loves them and is always with them. No matter what storm is raging in their lives, God’s got it.

The Garden & City: Teaching & Resources (Kindergarten - 4th Grade)

Offstage: Drop the Act

This month we’ll be exploring the connection between integrity and God’s character, as shown through God’s Big Story. Integrity is choosing to be truthful in whatever you say and do.

Since the very beginning, not only has God has been true to His word but He’s been faithful in His character. Because we know that God is good, we can live life with integrity. When Jesus lived on earth, He lived a perfect life that we are unable to live. Through His Spirit, we can become people of integrity. Who we are in private should match who we are in public. When we trust in God, we can be truthful in whatever we say and do.

FOCUS ON WHAT’S TRUE.

We finish up the month in Philippians 4:8. Paul reminds the church, “Finally, my brothers and sisters, always think about what is true. Think about what is noble, right, and pure. Think about what is lovely and worthy of respect. If anything is excellent or worthy of praise, think about those kinds of things.” (NIrV). If we want to have integrity with our entire lives, we have to fill our minds with good things in the first place.

Bottom Line: Focus on what’s true. Being a person of integrity takes work. We hope that this week kids will discover how they can fill their minds with what is true and good and worth thinking about. Filling our minds with what’s true, can helps us live our lives with honesty and integrity.

FOCUS ON WHAT’S TRUE.

Key Question: What do you tend to focus on? As preteens are growing up, they become more self-aware. We hope this question will prompt them to discover some things about themselves and how they might trust God to help them live with integrity. We pray they’ll figure out a plan to focus on what’s true.
