Ephesians

The apostle Paul wrote this letter to the churches in Ephesus and the surrounding region c. A.D. 62 while imprisoned in Rome. During this time he also wrote Colossians and Philemon. All three letters were sent with Tychicus and Onesimus. There are 2 major themes in Ephesians: Reconciliation and Renewal. Christ has reconciled people from all nations to himself and reconciled them to one another in his church. In Christ, people are renewed individually, and participate with God in bringing renewal to all of creation.
